Today Willy Bogner, together with his wife Sonia Boger, directs the internationally sucessful sports company, which has been founded in 1932 by his parents Willy and Maria Bogner. For almost 80 years, BOGNER has been standing for the intransigent passion between sports and fashion and is nowadays the worldwide market leader for premium skiing clothes.
Currently, Bogner operates sucessfully in more than 35 countries. Apart from skiing clothes, BOGNER has been dealing with exclusive sportswear since the 1960s, which by now accounts for a major part of the total revenue. Over the past centuries, BOGNER has launched a total of six product lines: BOGNER SPORT with the division ski and golf, BOGNER WOMAN with sportive casual and urban wear. Thirdly the exclusive designer collection SONIA BOGNER with elegant, cosmopolitan ladies` fashion. In addition comes the younger, streetwear-inspired line BOGNER FIRE ICE as well as the childrens`s line BOGNER KIDS for the age between 4 and 14 years. Year after year, 3.000 new designs are created in the BOGNER design studios.
Furthermore also the BOGNER licensing lines such as Leather, Jeans, Man shirts, Ski, Time, Eyes and Travel gain more and more importance. The licensees are chosen carefully and fully represent the exact brand`s character with their products.
In July 2009, Beauty Brands International acquired the international license BOGNER Fragrance and will overtake it with its existing assortment. This comprises the BOGNER classics “Woman No.1”, the elegant scent for ladies and “BOGNER Man Classic” with a fresh and sportive touch. This assortment was successfully extended in October 2010 with 2 new fragrances BOGNER for Man and for Woman. In October 2011 another new fragrance was launched, BOGNER FIRE + ICE, a young dynamic fragrance for men and women aged 25 to 35.
BBI is responsible both for development and production and national and international distribution and will successfully push forward the BOGNER perfums.
